Can Grok Bot take over booking travel?
What you're paying for isn't code. No bot conjures a panel, a bank feed or a benchmark.

This is the one everyone asks for and the one to be most careful about. A bot with a browser and your card can absolutely book a flight · that is the problem. Travel is a chain of expensive, hard-to-reverse decisions taken on incomplete information: the cheap flight that lands after the last train, the hotel that looks close on a map and isn't, the non-refundable fare booked with a passport name that doesn't match. A wrong Slack message costs nothing. A wrong booking costs hundreds and a morning on the phone. Hand over the research, keep the booking.
The prompt
Written for a bot that already has a browser, a terminal and your logins · paste it in whole.
Don't book anything. Research it and hand me a shortlist · I book. That line is the whole point of this one. A booking is expensive and hard to reverse, and a bot that misreads an arrival time by twelve hours has cost you a day and a fare. When I ask for a trip, use my browser and give me: - Three flight options: cheapest, fastest, and best-timed for the meetings in my calendar. - For each: real arrival time in local time, and whether I can still get where I'm going that night. - Three hotels near where I actually need to be, with the walking time to it. Not the city centre unless that's where I need to be. - Total cost per option, all in, including bags. What to flag every time: - Non-refundable fares. Say so in capitals. - Anything with a connection under 90 minutes. - Visa or passport-validity requirements for the destination. Never enter my card. Never hold a booking. Never create an account with an airline. If a price is about to expire, tell me · don't act to protect it.
What you lose
- nothing worth having · but if you hand over the booking too, you own whatever it books
- airline change fees are not a bot's problem, they're yours
