Transcription is the easy half and a bot does it fine. The half you're actually buying is the scoring - engagement, sentiment, whether people were paying attention - and those numbers are only worth anything because they're computed the same way across millions of meetings and benchmarked against them. A bot can produce a sentiment number for your call. It cannot tell you that it's low, because it has nothing to compare it to. A locally-computed engagement score with no benchmark is a random number with a percentage sign on it, and acting on it is worse than not having it.
the prompt
Written for a bot that already has a browser, a terminal and your logins · paste it in whole.
Don't build this one. The scores are only meaningful against a benchmark you don't have, and a homemade engagement percentage is a number that will mislead you with confidence. If what you actually want is the transcript and the summary, that part is worth doing: You have a computer, a browser, my calendar and my meeting logins. - Join calls tagged [rec] as 'Notetaker (for <my name>)'. Announce yourself. Leave if asked. - Transcribe locally with whisper.cpp, summarise into bullets, decisions and action items. - Slack the summary to me, file the transcript in Dropbox. And one thing that is genuinely useful without a benchmark, because it's a measurement rather than a judgement: - Report talk-time per speaker as a raw percentage of the call. - Do not label it good or bad. Do not compute a sentiment score. Do not tell me whether the meeting went well - I was there.
the bot will need to sign into: google-calendar · google-meet · slack · dropbox
what you lose
- benchmarks - the scores mean nothing without everyone else's calls
- engagement and sentiment models trained on a corpus you'll never have
- cross-meeting coaching trends
- the org-wide rollup that made someone buy this
